You will need pedestals.
By installing fence posts on top of pedestals you won't need to compensate for below ground levels and can choose shorter fence posts near the height of your fence. Consider getting extra post(s) for irregular turns and also consider if you need longer length posts for building on a slope.
Please note that you will need to bury between 2-4' in the ground depending on your ground density. For example, a 6' high fence needs at least a 8' post if burying in ground. Consider getting extra post(s) for irregular turns and also consider if you need longer length posts for building on a slope.
